POSITION SUMMARY: Ensures compliance to MEC requirements, quality standards, drawings, specifications, and contractual obligations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul> <li>Ensure documents and materials comply with company policies, procedures, work instructions, standard practices, and training materials</li> <li>Precisely interpret drawings and adhere to the MEC quality management system</li> <li>Ensure precise entry, monitoring, and updating in spreadsheets and databases</li> <li>Effectively communicate quality control process and requirements to internal and external customers</li> <li>Ensure assigned tasks and duties are completed accurately and on time</li> <li>Foster relationships with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and address any issues</li> <li>Maintain and monitor SAP in accordance with established processes, ensuring detailed information and status updates</li> <li>Manage and oversee multiple internal databases</li> <li>Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients</li> <li>Perform additional tasks as required </li> </ul> SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: <ul> <li> Minimum 2 years Aerospace experience </li> <li> Proficient with basic algebra </li> <li> Minimum 2 years ERP experience </li> <li> Proficient in MS Word and Excel </li> <li> Must be able to speak, read, and write English </li> <li> Ability to follow instructions and work independently </li> <li> Strong organizational, written, and communication skills </li> <li> Self-motivated with ability to solve problems, make decisions, and think outside the box </li> <li> Strong work ethics: meet deadlines, multitask, reliable, works well under pressure </li> <li> Must be able to lift 35 lbs </li> </ul> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: <ul> <li> Aerospace experience with Quality focus </li> <li> Experience reading and interpreting drawing and specification requirements </li> <li> Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) experience </li> <li> ERP experience specifically with SAP </li> </ul> WORK ENVIRONMENT: <ul> <li>Medium-to-large inspection and production floor environment</li> <li>Fast paced office environment</li> <li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate</li> <li>Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments</li> </ul> SALARY RANGE: Base Salary Range (Inglewood only): $26.34 - $35.44/hr (Non-Exempt) Salary is based on skills, experience, and education.
