POSITION SUMMARY: Perform thorough product inspections requiring basic GD&T knowledge and other Quality Control applications. Ensure compliance to MEC requirements, quality standards, drawings, specifications, and contractual obligations. Document inspection results and report findings in SAP, collaborate with other members of the quality control team, and contribute to maintaining high product standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: <ol> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Perform independent inspections, validations, and/or verifications of internal/external components to ensure compliance to Marvin Engineering processes, procedures, and contractual obligations. Inspect product using basic hand tools and bench inspection equipment interpreting basic GD&T.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Visual inspection of mechanical assemblies, soldering, and paint finishes, in accordance to engineering requirements.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Review non-destructive test documentation and supplier documentation in accordance with MEC Purchase Order.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Generate inspection reports in accordance with MEC policy.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Identify and segregate suspect non-conforming material and generate Quality Notification (QN) in accordance with MEC Policy.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Perform first piece validations in support of all manufacturing areas.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Witness and validate fastener applications.
