And providing product specifications update to QA/Lab/Production/Sale/TAS,</li> <li>Providing on-site quality control support through the delivery of user training (Yearly refresh training, new change training).</li> <li>Meeting agreed KPIs covering product quality, customer complaints, completeness, accuracy and timeline of testing, reporting and documentation.</li> <li>Planning, organizing and implementing customer required tests and reports.</li> <li>Dealing with internal quality issues raised by external suppliers, customers and regulatory bodies.</li> <li>Writing management and technical reports and customer’ required reports.</li> <li>Monitoring performance. Work with superior and production personnel to analyse trend of product performance and aim to continually improving the performance of product/process quality</li> <li>Supervising team of customer complaint handler, reporter, materials engineering.</li> <li>Other tasks assigned by QA Manager.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Common accountability:</strong></p> <p><em>Safety & Housekeeping</em></p> <ul> <li>Working with QA Manager to ensure targets for Health & Safety are met.</li> <li>Ensure all accidents/incidents and near miss are reported in a timely manner.</li> <li>Actively look for areas where safety can be improved.</li> <li>Maintain standards for housekeeping.</li> </ul> <p><em>Productivity:</em></p> <ul> <li>Ensure all QA department standard operating procedures and work instruction are up to date and followed correctly.</li> <li>Ensure specifications for global products are available and up to date.</li> <li>Ensure Customer method testing and specifications are available and up to date.</li> <li>Create specifications for non-global products.</li> <li>Measure and meet productivity targets of department such as complaint handling lead time, keeping rate of samples.</li> <li>Ensure all measuring/testing equipment use in QA are calibrated on time and certificated.</li> <li>Audit supplier.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><em>Quality:</em></p> <ul> <li>Ensure incoming material meet specifications.</li> <li>Work with sales and manufacturing teams to reduce customer complaints by doing corrective action and preventive action.</li> <li>Work with sales and customers to identify areas where improvements are required.</li> <li>Ensure support Sales team in term of testing and analyse thread of competitors.</li> <li>Manage SAP QM in QA Department.</li> <li>To ensure conversion factor are calculated accurately and reviewed periodically.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><em>People Management and development:</em></p> <ul> <li>Monitor and conduct annual performance review of subordinates.</li> <li>Ensure discipline (behaviour and time keeping), SOPs are enforced.</li> <li>Ensure team are compliance with Company policies.</li> <li>Yearly refresh training and new methods</li> <li>Hiring and training new comers</li> <li>Set up Individual Development Plan (IDP) as needed</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Who you are (Requirements):</strong> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>College/university graduate</li> <li>Good management of people, able to get the best out of all the team</li> <li>Ability to manage and prioritize own workload.</li> <li>Ability to work in a systemised methodical manner.</li> <li>Ability to communicate in English.</li> <li>Ability to present reports in a clear and concise fashion.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What will set you apart (Nice to Have):</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Good technical knowledge of thread production.</li> <li>Have the knowledge and experience about Yarn, thread.</li> <li>Have the knowledge and experience about inspection and testing lab, testing requirement, testing method, testing equipment.</li> <li>Ability to communicate in English.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>At Coats Group, we are committed to innovation, excellence, and fostering a diverse and collaborative environment where every team member can thrive.
