The role involves effective collaboration with key stakeholders from Manufacturing, Procurement, Central Planning, Quality, and HR to ensure:</span></p> <ul> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Exceptional customer service</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Targeted inventory achievement</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Reduction of slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB)</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Enhanced labor productivity</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Cost savings</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Compliance with health, safety, and quality standards</span></p> </li> </ul> <h3> </h3> <h3><span style=""><strong>Principal Accountabilities & Key Activities</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Deliver service KPIs (OTIF, SOLT, Strike rate) and analyze opportunities for improvement.</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve targeted inventory levels for raw materials, finished goods, packaging, dyes, and chemicals, while reducing SLOB.</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Coordinate with manufacturing, central planning, procurement, and other teams to meet plant-specific KPIs aligned with S&OP inputs.</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Oversee the movement of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods within the plant, ensuring timely transfers to distribution centers or production units.</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Ensure raw material, packaging material, dye, and chemical availability.</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Manage customer deliveries for domestic and export markets through distribution centers.</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Implement best practices in warehouse operations, focusing on health & safety, labor productivity, and cost optimization.</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Comply with ISO requirements and support certification audits (ISO and customer).</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Foster team growth, development, and performance.</span></p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><strong>Education, Qualifications & Experience</strong></span></p> <p><span style=""><strong>Essential:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Postgraduate in Operations Management with broad supply chain experience (planning processes, systems, SAP, warehouse, and 3PL management)</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">5–7 years’ experience in Supply Chain Manager roles</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, Change Management)</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Strong Excel, analytics, problem-solving, and decision-making skills</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Ability to interpret financial data, estimate costs, and comply with safety regulations</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage priorities</span></p> </li> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi</span></p> </li> </ul> <p><span style=""><strong>Desirable:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""> <p><span style="">Relevant Supply Chain and Management Qualification</span></p> </li> </ul> <p style=""> </p> <p><span style="">At Coats Group, we are committed to innovation, excellence, and fostering a diverse and collaborative environment where every team member can thrive.
