These critical solutions are used to create a wide range of products, including ones that provide safety and protection for people, data and the environment.</p> <p>Trusted by the world's leading companies to deliver crucial, innovative, and sustainable solutions, we provide value-adding products including apparel, footwear and speciality threads.</p> <p>With a proud heritage dating back more than 250 years and a spirit of evolution to constantly stay ahead of changing market needs, we have operations across 50 countries with a workforce of over 17,000, serving our customers worldwide.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Role Purpose: </strong></p> <p>Deliver required DTM/Sample service and satisfy external customer expectation enabling good conversion of samples to bulk orders while optimizing dye-lab operations resources.</p> <p>Deliver good promotion to bulk production in terms of Color quality and fastness performance</p> <p>Effective communication among all stakeholders within the organization in the management of various dye-lab activity primarily pertaining to customer sample requests.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you will do (Key Responsibilities):</strong></p> <p><u>Safety & Housekeeping: </u> </p> <ul> <li>Ensure all company Health & Safety policy and regulations are strictly implemented and satisfied</li> <li>Establish and maintain high level of Health and safety mindset/culture within own area of responsibility</li> <li>Create and maintain a world-class working environment with strong 5S practices, professional appearance, and safety best practices</li> </ul> <p><u>Laboratory operational</u></p> <ul> <li>Ensure all SOPs/W.Is are reviewed/updated/followed correctly.</li> <li>Ensure laboratory operational KPIs are met and continuously improved, including: Attempt per shade, Samples lead time, Lot per machine per day, sample rejection rate and Color quality promote to bulk</li> <li>Work with maintenance to identify and correct poorly performing machinery.</li> <li>Control the laboratory working hour per output</li> <li>Manage effectively the communication between Sales & Marketing, customers and the laboratory</li> <li>Recommend, agree and implement improvements to the process flow with a view to making the colour sampling service more competitive.</li> </ul> <p><u>Discipline:</u></p> <ul> <li>Monitor and evaluate the performance of subordinates.</li> <li>Ensure working hour regulations are strictly followed</li> <li>Conduct Performance Review yearly with Subordinates.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Who you are (Requirements):</strong> </p> <ul> <li>University graduate – preferably textile, chemical or engineering field</li> <li>Good management of people, able to get the best out of all the team</li> <li>Good technical knowledge of dyeing methods, dyestuffs and auxiliary chemicals</li> <li>Ability to communicate fluently in English</li> <li>Ability to present reports in a clear and concise fashion</li> <li>Ability to manage and prioritize own workload.</li> <li>Ability to work in a systemised methodical manner.</li> <li>Data analysis basic skills</li> <li>Having experience in textile dyeing, colorist is a big advantage</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>At Coats Group, we are committed to innovation, excellence, and fostering a diverse and collaborative environment where every team member can thrive.
