In this role, under the direction of a Senior Engineer, you will have the opportunity to assist with the design and permitting of traffic/transportation engineering and infrastructure projects in a cross-disciplinary learning environment.</span></span></span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><p>• Geometric designs of highways, freeways, and local roads using national and local codes;</p> <p>• Concept layout and preliminary design of roads;</p> <p>• Preparation of construction plans;</p> <p>• Preparation of Traffic Signalization drawings and plans;</p> <p>• Design of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements;</p> <p>• Design of roadway drainage networks and preparation of stormwater management plans;</p> <p>• Construction specifications review and estimating of costs and quantities;</p> <p>• Preparation of Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Plans (MPT);</p> <p>• Secure all required permist from the appropriate authorities for various roadway projects; </p> <p>• Assist in overseeing project overal progress, budget, and milestones;</p> <p>• Complete ADA inspections of constructed facilities; and</p> <p>• Perform other duties as requested.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Qualifications</H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">3+ years of work related experience;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">PE or EIT certification working towards a PE (preferred);</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Famliar with FDOT Standards and Specifications;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Excellent written and verbal communication skills;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment; and</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing.</span></span></li> </ul></div></div></div><p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Langan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives.
