Job Summary Langan is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance & Permitting Project Manager to join our collaborative Midwest team in then IL, WI, or IN. This individual will serve a key function in managing and submitting air permitting and compliance, industrial wastewater and stormwater permitting and compliance, storage tank registration and compliance evaluations, waste program management, multi-media environmental compliance audits, development of monitoring and spill prevention and contingency plans, and report writing. Job Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Direct and manage large, complex environmental engineering projects, including performing senior-level technical analysis and review;</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Develop environmental permitting and regulatory strategy for a variety of industrial and construction projects;</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Manage the preparation and submission of permits and compliance programs for multiple environmental media, including air, wastewater, stormwater, waste, spill prevention and storage tanks, EPCRA (Tier II, TRI);</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Prepare and submit responses to Notice of Violations and negotiate permit requirements with regulatory agencies on behalf of clients;</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Conduct multi-media environmental compliance audits, gap assessments, inspections, and program reviews;</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Lead and develop a team of environmental compliance staff, including hiring, coaching, training, and motivating team members. Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments;</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Lead and/or assist in the preparation of proposals, including scope and fees development;</li> <li style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:'Times New Roman', serif">Ensure that multiple projects and tasks are delivered on time and within budget. The estimated range for this role is: $112,500 - $171,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills. Certain roles may be eligible for overtime and participation in the firm's annual bonus and performance review program. Bonuses are discretionary and based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm. Employees are also eligible to receive up to 20 days of paid vacation time, 10 days of paid sick time and 10 paid holidays throughout the year.
