This individual will serve a key function in design, permitting and client management/development efforts for a variety of land development projects, becoming part of the leadership team behind Langan’s continuing growth in the data center market. </span></span></p> <p style="text-align:justify"> </p> <p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner cross-functionally with top firm-wide and industry leadership, fueling a developing Data Center practice, on a diverse array of premier land development projects. While the ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial demeanor, this individual will be provided robust resources for a successful integration and career with Langan, including support from and collaboration with engineering leadership throughout the firm. </span></span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Lead site/civil and multi-discipline efforts on a variety of project sites, with a focus on data centers, including the design and oversight of site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through completion;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Design and permit data centers, in addition to institutional, commercial, warehouse and distribution, and mixed-use projects for both public and private clients;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Drive business development activities by identifying new data center clients for the firm and maintaining relationships with existing clients;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Perform and manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Monitors budgets, schedules, and project timelines. Minimizes write-offs by keeping projects on budget;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Report and proposal writing. Write and review draft reports, including feasibility studies, stormwater management reports, technical specifications, and utility reports;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Provide expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design including SWPPP preparation and water quality compliance; and</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Perform other duties as requested.</span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Qualifications</H2> </div><div><ul> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Valid Professional Engineer license;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">10+ years of related site/civil engineering experience with particular expertise in land development on data center projects;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Strong client development, client communication, client management abilities, and ability to develop new work;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Site/civil experience on a variety of project sites including the ability to design site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through completion;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Strong client development and client management abilities;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Effective leadership and management practices;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Demonstrated ability effectively managing projects from concept through construction documents;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Active participation in professional organizations;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Self-starter with the ability to manage, motivate, mentor and lead others;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Ability to work well on multi-disciplinary projects;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Expertise in stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design, and SWPPP preparation;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Experienced in technical and proposal writing;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Excellent verbal and written communication skills;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Proficiency of AutoCAD or Civil 3D;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Ability to effectively interact with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment; </span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing; and</span></li> <li style="font-size:8.0pt"><span style="font-size:8.0pt">LEED accreditation a plus. <span style="background-color:white;color:white">#LI-ML1</span></span></li> </ul></div></div></div><p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Langan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives.
