This individual will serve a key function in producing high quality engineering construction plans, applying technical expertise to support various business needs. <span><span style="color:#333333">In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner cross-functionally with top industry leadership in a technologically-progressive environment.</span></span></span></span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Review engineering design tasks for an engineering office, including the appearance of all CAD drawings and general quality assurance and quality control;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Apply knowledge to translate conceptual designs into engineering designs;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Serve as the expert on technical projects, such as utility design;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Assist the Survey department with legal descriptions and exhibits;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Create GIS base mapping; Maintain plotting equipment;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Trains users and provide expert-level technical support for engineering technologies and custom software;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s policies and procedures, as well as the methods and procedures specific to area of expertise; and</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Perform other duties as requested.</span></span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Qualifications</H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or demonstrated equivalent knowledge;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">10+ years of experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills with the ability to design land development plans from concept through completion;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Knowledge of local, county, and state land use processes and regulations; water management district regulations is a plus;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Proficient in site, stormwater management, storm conveyance, grading, calculations, utility design and erosion and sediment control design;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Strong commitment to customer service and work directly with clients to resolve their inquiries;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Excellent verbal and written communication skills;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; and</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Possess reliable transportation to access job sites and a valid driver’s license in good standing.</span></span></li> </ul></div></div></div><p style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif">Langan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives.
