In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with top industry leadership on a complex and diverse portfolio of environmental projects in a continuous learning environment.</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">Job Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Field work is required;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Conduct EHS Due Diligence and deal support for a variety of legal, financial, and industrial clients;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Participate in the identification and pursuit of new clients, develop additional work within an existing project, and attend business development meetings with new and existing clients;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Assist with the coordination and execution of field investigations by logging borings, collecting and managing samples, performing field tests, and collecting and recording field data;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Perform air, soil, gas, groundwater sampling and remediation of contaminated properties;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Prepare and manage standard logs and field forms documenting field investigations (including drilling logs, field investigation forms, and chain of custody logs) and remedial activities (including air monitoring data and daily reports and maps);</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Observe remediation and construction activities and monitor conformance with construction documents, remedial work plans, and health and safety plans;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Assist clients with post-merger integration and compliance;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Identify and communicate with supervisor on any problems encountered on project sites and implement solutions to both routine and complex field problems and accurately documents results;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Conduct file reviews, site reconnaissance, and document searches;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Assist with report preparation; and</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Perform other duties as requested.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">Qualifications</H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li style=""><span style="">Bachelor&apos;s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Science, or Sustainability;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">5+ years of environmental consulting experience;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Experience within the M&amp;A environmental due diligence;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Strong technical education, professional demeanor, and desire to learn;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Strong report writing skills;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, data management, and judgment capabilities;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Availability to work overtime as needed;</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Possess reliable transportation access to remote job site locations; and</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Flexibility to allow for periodic travel. </span></li> </ul> <p> </p></div></div></div><p style="text-align:justify"><span style=""><span style="">Langan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives.
