This person will serve a key function in leading multi-discipline professionals in site/civil project efforts, and developing colleagues and business throughout the Westchester County, Hudson Valley, and Capital Regions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to continue building upon a well-established practice with a diverse portfolio of land development projects including grid resiliency, renewable energy, commercial centers, residential developments, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for both public and private sector clients. </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px">Job Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li style="vertical-align:middle">Lead the planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects. Coordinates and provides client communication;</li> <li style="vertical-align:middle">Civil design, SWPPP controls and inspections, and construction oversight of underground electrical ductbank;</li> <li style="vertical-align:middle">Manage the New York State Article VII process through the application development, implementation of supporting studies, Environmental Construction and Management Plan (EM&CP) development, and Environmental Monitor oversight role;</li> <li style="vertical-align:middle">Design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through completion;</li> <li style="vertical-align:middle">Develop new clients for the firm and maintain relationships with existing clients;</li> <li style="vertical-align:middle">Perform and manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. Monitors budgets, schedules, and project timelines. Minimizes write-offs by keeping projects on budget;</li> <li style="vertical-align:middle">Report and proposal writing. Experience managing the design and construction of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects a plus; </li> <li>5+ years of Project Management experience;</li> <li>5+ years experience managing and/or implementing Section 94-C/Article 10, Section 102 and/or Article VII assignments;</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Master’s degree a plus; </li> <li>Possess valid New York State Professional Engineer licensure (can be another state if reciprocity pursued);</li> <li>Ability to effectively work independently and lead a team of multi-discipline technical professionals, and to mentor staff engineers;</li> <li>Strong client development and client management abilities;</li> <li>Experience in report and proposal writing;</li> <li>Proficiency of AutoCAD or Civil 3D (preferred) with the ability to design site layouts from concept through completion;</li> <li>Active participation in professional organizations;</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills;</li> <li>Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; and,</li> <li>Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing.</li> </ul> #LI-EB1</div></div></div>Langan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives. The estimated range for this role is: $92,500- $133,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills. Certain roles may be eligible for overtime and participation in the firm's annual bonus and performance review program. Bonuses are discretionary and based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm. Employees are also eligible to receive up to 20 days of paid vacation time, 10 days of paid sick time and 10 paid holidays throughout the year.
