This individual will serve a key function in leading and supporting design, permitting and client management/development efforts for a variety of land development projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow the Denver office and contribute directly to the overall growth of the Mountain Region Site/Civil discipline. </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for both public and private client;</li> <li>Work closely with firm leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization; </li> <li>Lead staffing and hiring initiatives for the Denver office; </li> <li>Participate in the identification and pursuit of new clients, develop additional work within an existing project and attend business development meetings with new and existing clients; </li> <li>Provide direct oversight and management of junior staff for specific project assignments. Coach, train, and motivate Site/Civil staff; </li> <li>Lead site/civil efforts on a variety of project sites including the ability to design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through completion; </li> <li>Lead storm water management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and design and SWPPP preparation; </li> <li>Demonstrate experience in all aspects of land development engineering including the integration of geotechnical and environmental engineering; and </li> <li>Performs other duties as requested. </li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Qualifications</H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; </li> <li>15+ years of successful, local and related site/civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development on both small and large projects; </li> <li>Professional Engineering license; </li> <li>Site/civil experience on a variety of project sites including the ability to design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc. from concept through completion; </li> <li>Strong client development and client management abilities; </li> <li>Proficiency of AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred; </li> <li>Active participation in professional organizations; </li> <li>Experience in technical and proposal writing; </li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; </li> <li>Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities; </li> <li>Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment; and </li> <li>Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing. </li> </ul> </div></div></div>Langan provides a rich array of programs and benefits to help its employees advance their careers and enhance the quality of their lives. The estimated range for this role is: $112,500- $171,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills. Certain roles may be eligible for overtime and participation in the firm's annual bonus and performance review program. Bonuses are discretionary and based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm. Employees are also eligible to receive up to 20 days of paid vacation time, 10 days of paid sick time and 10 paid holidays throughout the year. Eligibility and actual paid time off may vary based on local law and factors such as hours worked, related work experience and level.
