<p>Kick-start your engineering career with an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects at Lotus Bakeries Factory in Thailand. As a Junior Project Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of projects across multiple workstreams, including product commercialization (CVS), factory CAPEX improvements, and brownfield expansion initiatives.</p> <p>This role offers hands-on experience in project execution while developing strong engineering expertise, project management capability, and commercial awareness through close collaboration with experienced project leaders and cross-functional teams. You will work in a dynamic environment where innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.<br><br>This role reports directly to the Strategic Project Manager and offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Global Supplier Team, R&D, Procurement, Engineering, factory operations, and local suppliers/third-party partners. Together, you will drive projects to successful completion while ensuring safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. </p><h3><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Provides Safe Products and a Safe Workplace:</span></h3> <ul> <li><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Apply Lotus quality and food safety standards in production facilities.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Promote and follow Quality & Safety Standards to protect people, products, and assets.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Ensure compliance with Lotus and local safety standards, escalating risks when required.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Implement facility and workplace standards in line with security and regulatory requirements.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Support risk assessment and change management processes for all projects.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Efficiently Converts Raw Materials into Finished Goods:</span></h3> <ul> <li>Support the execution of capital projects, including resource and timeline planning.</li> <li>Coordinate contractors and third-party resources while managing project risks.</li> <li>Support sustainability initiatives focused on energy reduction and renewable energy usage.</li> <li>Assist CVS activities through validation runs, data collection, and commercialization support.</li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Optimizes the Supply Chain:</span></h3> <ul> <li>Support site master planning activities.</li> <li>Assist in project business cases and approval processes.</li> <li>Work with Procurement and suppliers to improve capital purchasing and manage risks.</li> <li>Support the protection of Lotus intellectual property with external partners.</li> <li>Contribute to operational improvement initiatives and training activities.</li> <li>Support Marketing and R&D during product transitions from Lembeke to Chon Buri.</li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Analyses and Improves Performance:</span></h3> <ul> <li>Support project budget control and engineering expense management within approved guidelines.</li> <li>Monitor project KPIs and identify improvement opportunities with the Engineering team.</li> <li>Assist with technical reviews of drawings, specifications, and vendor submissions.</li> <li>Support financial tracking, SAP purchase orders, and forecast reporting.</li> <li>Provide data and technical support for ROI analysis and investment proposals.</li> </ul><p><strong>Education (degree):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Business Administration, or Project Management is an advantage</li> </ul> <p><strong>Specific knowledge:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Office 365 — Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint </li> <li>Outlook</li> <li>Project Management tools</li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Solid experience (minimal 1-3 years) as a Junior/Young Project Engineer or Management trainee background is also welcome.</li> <li>Experience working in an International environment</li> <li>Work experience in a start-up company/phase and/or project management experience is a plus.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Language:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Good command in English (verbal and writing)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Personal competences:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Delivers Consistent Results</li> <li>Creates Collaborative Relationships</li> <li>Conflict Management</li> <li>Planning</li> <li>Peer Relationships</li> <li>Problem Solving</li> <li>Drive for Results</li> <li>Technical/Functional Skills</li> </ul>
