Ensure safety, quality, monitor production and troubleshoot equipment and process problems.</p> <p><strong>ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS</strong></p> <p>Reports to the Production Manager.</p> <p><strong>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Ensure all health and safety regulations are enforced and complied with and that precautions are taken preventing potential hazards.</li> <li>Aware of planned manning and production schedules.</li> <li>Monitor the performance of scheduled equipment to ensure efficient production flow and achievement of production objectives</li> <li>Work directly with Maintenance to troubleshoot equipment, process and quality problems while minimizing equipment downtime and inefficiency.</li> <li>Ensure communication with Department Supervisors through daily shift reports, email and direct communication at shift change.</li> <li>Recommend new or improved production techniques or equipment to improve efficiencies and quality or to reduce costs.</li> <li>Maintain the security of the Plant.
