This role ensures safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of all equipment, infrastructure, and capital assets while enabling production to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.</li> <li>The Technical Manager combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capability—driving operational excellence, building organizational capability, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver sustainable plant performance. This leader sets high standards, fosters accountability, and builds a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and winning as a team.</li> <li>The Technical Manager is responsible for managing plant Projects, Digital and Industry 4.0, Environment and Innovative product launches</li> </ul> <p>Area of Responsibility:</p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li><strong>Engineering & Capital Projects - </strong>Lead planning, prioritization, and execution of capital and expense projects. <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and risk.</li> <li>Ensure robust engineering standards, documentation, and change management.</li> <li>Drive modernization, automation, and reliability improvements.</li> <li>Partner with operations to align technical investments with plant strategy.</li> <li>Ensure that all Heath and Safety as well as Environmental regulations are complied with.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Maintenance & Reliability - </strong>Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance systems. <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies.</li> <li>Improve asset uptime, reduce unplanned downtime, and optimize maintenance costs.</li> <li>Establish KPI-driven maintenance management (e.g., MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance).</li> <li>Ensure effective spare parts and MRO inventory management.</li> <li>Work with other functions of the Plant to be aware of activities and recognize key problems areas and define objectives to improve. Support as needed.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Facilities & Infrastructure - </strong>Oversee plant utilities, building systems, and infrastructure reliability. <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.</li> <li>Maintain long-term facility asset management plans.</li> <li>Manage contractors and service providers effectively.</li> <li>Ensure Environmental targets are identified and achieved</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Leadership & Talent Development</strong> <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Build, coach, and develop a high-performing technical team.</li> <li>Establish clear performance expectations and accountability.</li> <li>Identify and grow technical talent and succession pipelines.</li> <li>Foster a culture of ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.</li> <li>Lead through influence and partnership across departments.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong> <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Work closely with EHS, Quality, Supply Chain and Production.</li> <li>Act as a trusted peer and strategic partner to plant leadership.</li> <li>Lead and participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives.</li> <li>Navigate and lead through challenging conversations with clarity and professionalism.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Financial & Strategic Accountability</strong> <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li>Develop and manage annual maintenance and capital budgets.</li> <li>Deliver projects on time and within approved budgets.</li> <li>Drive cost improvement without compromising safety or reliability.</li> <li>Support long-term site master planning and strategic initiatives.</li> <li>Create roadmap for Digital/Industry 4.0 and implement</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>Expected Results:</p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>On-time, on-budget execution of capital projects.</li> <li>Measurable improvement in equipment uptime and reliability.</li> <li>Reduction in unplanned downtime and maintenance backlog.</li> <li>Improved safety performance within engineering and maintenance teams.</li> <li>Increased PM compliance and predictive maintenance utilization.</li> <li>Strong engagement, retention, and development of technical staff.</li> <li>Recognized as a collaborative and trusted leader within the plant leadership team.</li> <li>Digital and Industry 4.0 leadership</li> <li>Environmental and CO2 reduction leadership</li> </ul> <p>Required Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field required).</li> <li>8+ years of progressive experience in engineering and/or maintenance leadership within an industrial or manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Proven track record managing capital projects and maintenance systems.</li> <li>Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles.</li> <li>Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance KPIs.</li> <li>Knowledge of industrial safety standards and regulatory compliance.</li> <li>Exceptional technical depth combined with practical, hands-on leadership.</li> <li>Strong drive to achieve results and a competitive, performance-oriented mindset.</li> <li>Highly adaptable; thrives in dynamic and changing environments.</li> <li>Courageous communicator who addresses difficult issues directly and constructively.</li> <li>Strong team player who builds trust and collaborates effectively across functions.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and grow technical talent.</li> <li>High level of accountability and ownership.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Qualifications (Preferred)</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:square"> <li>Professional Engineering (PE) license or advanced technical certification.</li> <li>Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.</li> <li>Experience in TPM or Reliability Excellence programs.</li> </ul> <p>Type of Position: Existing</p> <p>Use of AI: None</p> <p>Salary: $138,000 per annum to $160,000 per annum</p><p><strong>OUR GROWTH CULTURE</strong></p> <p>Among our employees we share the same values- we are pioneers of the energy transition, dedicated to deliver to the highest standards of performance united to achieve our ambitious goal. </p> <p>At the individual level our growth culture is built on trust and collaboration.
