About this role
<p style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;line-height:120%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">The Senior Purchaser will oversee the following activities on the site for which he/she is responsible:</p> <p style="margin:0.0cm 0.0cm 8.0pt;line-height:120%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif"> </p> <ul style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:0.0cm" type="square"> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-right:0.0cm;line-height:120%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Responsible for Local Site Purchasing and Local Vendor Management: reassessment of needs, launch of RFI, RFQ contract designs, implementation and monitoring of continuous improvement plan.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-right:0.0cm;line-height:120%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Supports the definition of the category strategy / Business Units, in line with the vision of the group, their Business Unit, and ensure the alignment of group practices / BU / sites.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-right:0.0cm;line-height:120%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">For Purchases> € 100,000, it is responsible for the Purchasing performance and the implementation of Procurement strategies, contracts and / or agreements negotiated by the Group. Works and returns requirements to non-production purchasing COE for all purchases over 250 000€.</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-right:0.0cm;line-height:120%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Provide relevant reports to plant manager / site manager related to purchasing activities and performance</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-right:0.0cm;line-height:120%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Provide relevant reports to the SPM and Group Purchasing Department on the performance and all the Purchasing activities related to the site</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-right:0.0cm;line-height:120%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Responsible for implementation of Nexans Processes and Standard Purchasing</li> <li style="margin-top:0.0cm;margin-bottom:8.0pt;margin-right:0.0cm;line-height:120%;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">Responsible for the implementation of transversal Group Purchasing initiatives on his/her perimeter</li> </ul>
