Are you ready to take off on your next career with us?</span></span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Summary</b></H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif">The work of a Baggage System Operator (BSO) classification, depending on assignment, includes any or all the following: entering the baggage system to free baggage jams maintain the cleanliness of the immediate work area and bag room as required. BSO are responsible for the operation of the belt system. Must ensure proper spacing of bags and monitor the buildup of bags on the carousels. Must ensure that the bags are aligned as required and/or immediately clear any resulting jams. BSOs are responsible for the manual movement of baggage in the event of a system outage. The BSOs will be responsible for providing customer service while directing, handling passenger baggage, and ensuring that customer baggage is directed to the appropriate locations from stations in the Airport bag room.</span></span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif">Check baggage into the system when received from interline or other input point of a baggage system which entails determining baggage destination and placement of a bar coded tag on the baggage</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif">Ensures that baggage transport tubs are used and cleaned of previous bar-coded tags</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif">Gathering of baggage transport tubs from distribution points and return to input points</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif">May also be required to act as a general utility/support type person on maintenance contracts, which may include parts or supplies runner.</span></span></li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Minimum Requirements</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif">HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif">Ability to judge distance.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif">Valid driver's license</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif">Must be able to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and/or holidays</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif">Background check and drug screen required</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman, Times, serif">Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport I.D.
