This role is responsible for managing all phases of project delivery including planning, execution, cost control, scheduling, procurement, workforce coordination, safety, quality, commissioning support, and client relations.</p> <p>The ideal candidate brings strong industrial or mission critical construction experience, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex electrical scopes in fast-paced environments while driving project performance and team success.</p> <p> </p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, field leadership, engineers, and client teams to execute project objectives.</li> <li>Lead and manage self-perform electrical scopes including: <ul type="circle"> <li>Medium- and low-voltage power distribution</li> <li>Underground duct banks and grounding systems</li> <li>Electrical equipment setting and installation</li> <li>Cable tray and raceway systems</li> <li>Power, control, communications, and instrumentation systems</li> <li>Commissioning and startup support</li> </ul> </li> <li>Develop and execute project strategies focused on safety, quality, schedule certainty, and cost performance.</li> <li>Monitor and manage project performance including labor productivity, equipment utilization, material tracking, forecasting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.</li> <li>Lead project reporting processes including labor reports, cost forecasting, schedule updates, progress tracking, document control, and change management.</li> <li>Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies to reduce schedule, commercial, and operational impacts.</li> <li>Manage all change orders including pricing, negotiations, schedule impacts, and client coordination.</li> <li>Lead effective meetings with clients, engineering teams, trade partners, and internal stakeholders while ensuring clear and timely communication across all levels of the project.</li> <li>Support project planning and sequencing activities, including manpower forecasting, work packaging, commissioning readiness, and turnover planning.</li> <li>Mentor, coach, and develop project engineers, coordinators, and field teams while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.</li> <li>Coordinate closely with safety and quality teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and company standards.</li> <li>Support business development and preconstruction efforts including estimates, proposals, presentations, constructability reviews, and client pursuits.</li> <li> </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred; equivalent electrical trade or field leadership experience will also be considered.</li> <li>5+ years of experience managing electrical construction projects within industrial, mission critical, power, or large commercial environments.</li> <li>Experience managing self-perform electrical scopes on data center or mission critical projects strongly preferred.</li> <li>Strong understanding of: <ul type="circle"> <li>Medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems</li> <li>Electrical construction means and methods</li> <li>Construction sequencing and project controls</li> <li>Commissioning and startup processes</li> <li>Labor productivity and workforce planning</li> </ul> </li> <li>Proven ability to manage complex projects with aggressive schedules and multiple stakeholders.</li> <li>Strong understanding of contracts, risk management, cost control, forecasting, and change management.</li> <li>Ability to lead project teams and communicate effectively with clients, engineers, craft professionals, and executive leadership.</li> <li>Experience with scheduling, estimating, and construction management software platforms.</li> <li>Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities.</li> <li>Willingness to travel or relocate based on project needs.</li> <li> </li> </ul></div></div></div><p><strong>Your Work Has Purpose Here</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>PCL projects are where life happens, where communities connect, careers begin, and progress is made.
