Assists with the development of project training. Assists with the development of district specific training.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Reviews project training objectives and project trend action plans. Identifies industry statistics and hazards and communicates any expected/anticipated changes to project teams.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Verifies that hazard identification tools are in place on the project(s) and evaluates areas for process improvement.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Oversees and conducts formal HSE inspections and audits.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Provides guidance and coaching to project teams and direct reports on audit requirements.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Evaluates and verifies that appropriate PPE is being used on project sites. Develops specialized PPE training as required.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Develops and evaluates effectiveness of project emergency response plan and executes crisis communication plan for project(s).</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Verifies that equipment and tool inspections are being conducted and documented as per the program.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Participates in the investigation process as per the incident investigation matrix and determines when external resources are required.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Monitors work injury and ensures modified work is followed and properly documented.</span></span></li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in OH&S or a related discipline.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">CRSP certification preferred (CDN).</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">ASP certificate preferred (US).</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">9 years of experience in a related industry, with direct experience in HSE.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">4 years of experience in a supervisory role.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Strong knowledge of construction processes and terminology.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Strong ability to coach and mentor others.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Expert knowledge of OH&S and environmental legislation related to projects/area.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to coach and mentor others on HSE processes.</span></span></li> <li><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Strong communication and presentation skills on HSE topics to senior managers and projects.</span></span></li> </ul> </div></div></div><p>The estimated salary range for this role is $125,000 and $165,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
