As a student at PCL, you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth.</p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking a <strong>Electrical Studies Student,</strong> for our <strong>Solar District </strong>that is available for<strong> 8-12 months starting September 2026. </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>As a <strong>Electrical Studies Student </strong>and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:</p> </div> <div> <div> </div> </div><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Assisting with coordinating and managing the project design and procurement process which includes taking detailed meeting minutes and following up on open items.</li> <li>Assisting with review of RFP documentation, drawings/diagrams, Commissioning plan and electrical studies for key design requirements.</li> <li>Facilitating communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders by utilizing PM4+ to send RFls and submittals.</li> <li>Ensuring project compliance and quality through site O&Ms and warranty item tracking</li> <li>Streamlining project processes by converting excel inspection test plans into PM4+ ITP templates.</li> <li>Supporting project success by developing and maintaining Power Bl Synoptics design dashboards for projects.</li> <li>Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.</li> <li>Developing and maintaining strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a solar design function</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Superior attention to detail</li> <li>Proficient in various computer software programs, including AutoCad, word processing, and spreadsheet applications (Excel)</li> <li>Familiarity with PM4+ and Power Bl is a plus</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Next Step:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Please note that candidates who have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process will receive an email to complete a short online video interview.</li> </ul></div></div></div><p>The estimated hourly range for this role is $21.37- $31.34, based on your experience and qualifications.
