As a student at PCL, you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth.</p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking a <strong>Procurement Student</strong> for our <strong>Toronto District</strong>, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for <strong>4 month or 8 months starting September 2026. </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>As a <strong>Procurement Student</strong> you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Sourcing materials, services and equipment as directed and in accordance with policy and procedures.</li> <li>Identifying and selecting vendors to purchase requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality, safety, and delivery date.</li> <li>Expediting orders while also shipping and receiving.</li> <li>Stacking, counting and placing goods in accordance with the warehouse organizational plan.</li> <li>Maintaining inventory levels and records.</li> <li>Preparing procurement reports and documentation as required.</li> <li>Providing equipment administration support.</li> <li>Practicing PCL safety practices.</li> <li>Assisting in all aspects, as is reasonably available, of procurement & equipment management activities.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management specialization in a post-secondary institution.</li> <li>Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and time management skills.</li> <li>Maintains a positive working relationship with clients.</li> <li>Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> </ul><div></div><div> <div> <div> <p><strong>Next Step:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Please note that candidates who have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process will receive an email to complete a short online video interview.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> <div id="footerContent"> <p>The estimated hourly range for this role is $19.57- $28.69, based on your experience and qualifications.
