As a student at PCL, you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth.</p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking an <strong>Integrated Construction Technology Student</strong> for our <strong>Ottawa District</strong>, within our <strong>Canadian Buildings Division</strong>, that is available for <strong>4 months</strong> from<strong> September 2026 – December 2026. </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Here's how an Integrated Construction Technology Student for our Ottawa office contributes to our team: </p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"><b>Responsibilities</b></H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>Completing key plan development for construction schedules and site layout documents which can include but is not limited to: site safety, site access, site trailers, temporary electricity, hoist access, crane swing, and demolition.</li> <li>Becoming familiar with building information modeling (BIM) software such as Revit, Navisworks, Enscape, Fuzor, and Lumion.</li> <li>Becoming familiar with scheduling & 4D scheduling programs like P6 and Synchro.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><ul type="disc"> <li>Working towards a degree or diploma in architectural technology or a related field.</li> <li>A strong desire to work in a construction environment.</li> <li>Good working knowledge of Revit.</li> <li>Application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting. </li> <li>Prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.</li> </ul></div></div></div><p><strong>Next Step:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Please note that candidates who have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process will receive an email to complete a short online video interview.</p> <p> </p> <p>The estimated hourly range for this role is <strong>$19.57 – $28.69 </strong>based on your experience and qualifications.
