As a student at PCL, you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth.</p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking a <strong>Proposals Student</strong> for our <strong>Toronto District</strong>, within our Canadian Buildings Division who is available for <strong>4 or 8 months starting September 2026. </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>As a <strong>Proposals Student</strong> and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:</p> <p> </p> </div> <div> <div> <div> <h2><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></h2> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Works with a small team of Proposal Specialists on submission documents that may include: Expressions of Interest (EOI); Requests for Qualifications (RFQ); Requests for Proposal (RFP).</li> <li>Assists with RFP review process including reviewing RFP requirements, development of proposal outline and timeline/assignments (Proposal Plan), and identifying questions, concerns and potential risks to inform the Strategic Visioning and proposal planning stage of the process.</li> <li>Participates in the kick-off ‘Strategic Visioning’ and Proposal Planning session, ensuring that all key proposal stakeholders are represented.</li> <li>Assists with researching key submission data necessary to create a submission document.</li> <li>Assists with translating a proposal ‘Vision’ into a compelling proposal layout and graphic design working primarily in InDesign, and creating compelling graphics and visual communication strategies, including strategic image selection and/or acquisition.</li> <li>Assists in the assembly and review of responses for compliance, accuracy and content, and coordinate/ participate in review sessions with teammates/ stakeholders to ensure the integrity of all documents and solutions.</li> <li>Accurately proof, edit and reword text.</li> <li>Other duties as required.</li> </ul> <p> </p> </div> </div> <div> <div> <h2><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></h2> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Working towards a degree or diploma in a communications field.</li> <li>Strong written communication and collaboration skills.</li> <li>Competency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).</li> <li>Proficiency with Adobe InDesign would be considered an asset.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Next Step:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Please note that candidates who have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process will receive an email to complete a short online video interview.</li> </ul> <p> </p> </div> </div> </div><div></div><p>The estimated hourly range for this role is $19.57- $28.69, based on your experience and qualifications.
