As a student at PCL, you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth.</p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking a <strong>Human Resources Student</strong> for our <strong>Toronto District</strong>, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for <strong>4 month or 8 months starting September 2026. </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>As a <strong>Human Resources Student</strong> you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:</p> </div> </div> <div> <div> <div> <h2><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></h2> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Being involved in and exposed to various areas of Human Resources including recruitment, training and professional development and health & wellness</li> <li>Assisting with planning and executing career fairs Assisting with training coordination and facilitates course set-up</li> <li>Supporting the team by preparing for daily events and follow-up actions (e.g. scheduling and coordinating meetings, maintaining action lists and reminders, and meeting/interview preparation)</li> <li>Supporting activities requiring a high degree of confidentiality, attention to detail, and accuracy</li> <li>Composing and preparing confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation</li> <li>Other duties and projects as assigned</li> </ul> </div> </div> <div> <div> <h2><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></h2> </div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Pursuing a degree or diploma with a Human Resources major</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Proficiency with various computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)</li> <li>Able to proactively anticipate needs and follow-up items for the team</li> <li>Able to maintain strict confidentiality required of work assignments Independent and resourceful in accomplishing day-to-day tasks and assignments</li> <li>Demonstrated initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities under tight deadlines, while maintaining a high-degree of accuracy and professionalism</li> </ul> <p> </p> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div><div></div><div> <div> <div> <div id="footerContent"> <p><strong>Next Step:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Please note that candidates who have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process will receive an email to complete a short online video interview</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div id="footerContent"> <p> </p> <p>The estimated hourly range for this role is $19.57- $28.69, based on your experience and qualifications.
