As a student at PCL, you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth.</p> <p> </p> <p>We are seeking a <strong>Business Development Student</strong>, for our <strong>Toronto District</strong>, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for <strong>4 or 8 months starting September 2026. </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>As an <strong>Business Development</strong> <strong>Student</strong>, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:</p> <p> </p> </div> <div> <div> <div> <h2><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></h2> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Supports business development and new markets strategic development through research and data mining.</p> </li> <li> <p>Passionate about learning various data analytic tools such as Sales Force while also providing analytical support regarding interpretation, analysis, and presentation of data.</p> </li> <li> <p>Assists in evaluating public procurement platforms to find new construction opportunities.</p> </li> <li> <p>Takes charge to create custom reports and presentations to meet the organization’s needs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensures that client and corporate information is maintained confidential.</p> </li> <li> <p>Discovers gaps in existing data quality by performing data cleansing, data filling, and benchmarking against independent data sources.</p> </li> <li> <p>Participates in, or leading, ad hoc initiatives.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> </div> </div> <div> <div> <h2><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></h2> </div> <div> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>Superior trend spotting and analytical skills.</p> </li> </ul> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li> <p>High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.</p> </li> <li> <p>Highly organized self-starter.</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent computer, word processing, desktop publishing, and researching skills.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to maintain confidentiality.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.</p> </li> <li> <p>A passion for understanding data analytics and how to integrate it into the business process.</p> </li> <li> <p>The ability to understand the emerging digitization trends.</p> </li> <li> <p>Being efficient, enthusiastic, and flexible.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> </div> </div> </div><div></div><div> <div> <div> <p><strong>Next Step:</strong></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc"> <li>Please note that candidates who have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process will receive an email to complete a short online video interview.</li> </ul> <p> </p> </div> </div> </div> <div id="footerContent"> <p>The estimated hourly range for this role is $19.57- $28.69, based on your experience and qualifications.
