Leads recruitment process for senior-level positions. Utilizes appropriate recruitment sourcing strategies and builds strategic industry contacts to build a candidate pipeline. </li> <li>Leads local market research and analysis for salary/bonus review cycle. </li> <li>Provides guidance, coaching, and training on all aspects of career management. </li> <li>Guides and coaches supervisors through progressive discipline process for entry to mid-level positions, including the development and delivery of performance improvement plans and/or progressive disciplinary strategies on employee relations issues up to and including termination. </li> <li>Leads investigations, including communication/implementation of outcomes/decisions. Assists manager on complex investigations. </li> <li>Has demonstrated experience in executing employment investigations. </li> <li>Oversees student program strategy, enhances, and influences the program to align with district strategies. Maintains strategic relationships with academic institutions. </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:14.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Qualifications</b></H2> </div><div><p>• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred.<br>• Completion of HR designation preferred.<br>• 7 years of progressive human resources experience preferred.<br>• Supervisory experience an asset.<br>• Demonstrated understanding and application of HRPD-related principles, practices, procedures, and employment legislation.<br>• Able to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handling confidential information.<br>• Able to interpret and analyze information and data and make recommendations.<br>• Strong business acumen, with an understanding of industry practices and new developments.<br>• Able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.<br>• Able to effectively manage a team comprising of entry-level human resources professionals.<br>• Seen as a trusted advisor with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers</p></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Your Work Has Purpose Here</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">PCL projects are where life happens, where communities connect, careers begin, and progress is made.
