<p>The Japan Research Institute (JRI) Limited is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Group. As a system integrator, JRI offers services in IT strategy planning, implementation and outsourcing to a broad range of industries and activities. JRI Singapore currently supports the overall IT functions of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) in Asia Pacific Region.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analyze and translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and solution design principles.</li> <li>Collaborate with Solution Architects to design scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that meet business objectives.</li> <li>Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and testing teams, ensuring clear communication and seamless integration of requirements.</li> <li>Drive process re-engineering initiatives, defining target operating models and recommending technology-enabled improvements.</li> <li>Prepare and review project deliverables, including functional specifications, solution design documents, API specifications, and UML models.</li> <li>Support project planning activities with PMO, including resource estimation, scheduling, and budget forecasting.</li> <li>Coordinate system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring test coverage aligns with business requirements and technical design.</li> <li>Assist in mid-term strategy formulation, contributing to technology roadmaps and solution optimization initiatives.</li> <li>Provide Level 2 functional support, investigating and resolving complex issues in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with governance standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements throughout the solution lifecycle.<br> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Finance & Banking.</li> <li>Minimum of 10 years working as a System Analyst or a role holding similar job responsibilities</li> <li>Experience in Banking environment with exposure to Digital Channels. </li> <li>IT Banking systems experience required.</li> <li>Knowledge in Agile / Waterfall Methodology will be an advantage.</li> <li>Familiar with business process re-engineering and solution design.</li> <li>Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills and ability to achieve results with these stakeholders in a collaborative manner.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and strong ability to steer / influence positive outcome effectively. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.</li> <li>Work on any other projects as assigned.</li> <li>Able to manage lite projects independently. </li> </ul>
