JRI Singapore currently supports the overall IT functions of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) in Asia Pacific Region.</span></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Planning</span></p> <ul> <li>Plan for design solutioning, testing and implementation activities with timelines and effort estimates with Delivery Manager.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Business & Technical Requirements</span></p> <ul> <li>To discuss and work with business analyst to understand, analyse, validate user/business/system requirements to determine the project requirements.</li> <li>Drive Technical/System requirements from abstract product vision all the way to detailed system / technical requirements in collaboration with solution architect.</li> <li>System interactions for the process flows, event triggers, data handling, and user roles.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">GAP & Fit Analysis</span></p> <ul> <li>Perform functional impact analysis and risk assessment to examine and evaluate existing vs. to-be processes in collaboration with technical leads.</li> <li>Fit-gap analysis on system functions. </li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Functional Design</span></p> <ul> <li>Design functional solutions based on user requirements and work with Technical Leads to determine and identify any technical constraints, technical design and limitations to the proposed solutions.</li> <li>Leads and collaborates with cross-functional and technical teams for a seamless integrated solution.</li> <li>Data mapping and transaction flow and error handling with collaboration with Technical leads.</li> <li>Analyze the impact on existing systems and clarify the affected systems, screens, forms, batches, data items.</li> <li>Organize data to be transferred to related systems and define I/F specifications and I/F layout.</li> <li>Define the functional requirements of the system, including report types, data sources, and output formats.</li> <li>Understand class diagrams and sequence diagrams, and examine naming conventions, relationship expressions, and consistency.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Non-functional Requirements</span></p> <ul> <li>Predict future transaction rates and throughput for online and batch processing from past data.</li> <li>Evaluate each server's hardware and software requirements and plan for scalability.</li> <li>Analyze system traffic to assess network design, traffic calculations, and bandwidth needs.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Operational Requirements</span></p> <ul> <li>Define key principles for operations and monitoring.</li> <li>Organize SLAs and recommend appropriate backup, recovery, and maintenance.</li> <li>Utilize tools to set operational schedules.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Documentation</span></p> <ul> <li>Document functional specifications of the proposed solutions, conduct walkthrough and obtain user confirmation on the requirements and buy-in of the proposed solutions.</li> <li>Obtain official sign off from user.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Requirement Traceability</span></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for documenting final technical artefacts and ensuring complete traceability to original requirement.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">System Configuration</span></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for software configuration documentation and setup based on sign-off solution. </li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">System Testing</span></p> <ul> <li>Support test activities by working in collaboration with Test manager, Test lead and Test Domain SME to ensure delivered solutions meet requirements and testing coverage.</li> <li>Assist Test manager & Test Lead in integration test and user acceptance test.</li> <li>Assist Test Manager during Defect triage to review, categorize, prioritize and assigning defects.</li> <li>Work with technical leads ( or Vendor ) to determine the root cause of defects.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Implementation plan</span></p> <ul> <li>Work in collaboration with all technical leads for all domains to include all systems ( integrated ) required setup including all system configurations and runbooks.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">Migration Design & Data Mapping</span></p> <ul> <li>Work with Technical Lead on migration design & data mapping are correct cross-domain.</li> <li>Review with BA on all required reconciliations including both technical and functional.</li> </ul> <p><span style="text-decoration:underline">User training</span></p> <ul> <li>Prepare training materials, conduct user training and support to end users to ensure that they are able to effectively use systems.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.</li> <li>Minimum 10 years of senior-level System Analyst experience in financial services, preferably in payments.</li> <li>Strong domain expertise in corporate banking, cross-border payments, and payment system integrations.</li> <li>Proven experience managing full SDLC including design, source code governance, testing coverage, and release cycles.</li> <li>Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.</li> <li>Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.</li> <li>Track record of leading complex multi-team, multi-vendor technology projects to successful completion.</li> <li>Ability to review and quality check deliverables (requirements definition documents, design documents, test specifications) to discover and correct deficiencies and errors</li> <li>Knowledge of the technical configuration and integration methods of remittance systems (API integration, message formats, middleware, etc.)</li> <li>Basic knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance, and understanding of unique quality and security requirements</li> </ul>
