Job Responsibilities <ul> <li> Responsible for leading teams to deliver projects spanning multiple domains. </li> <li> Delivering projects within quality gate controls as defined in JRIS Software Development Lifecycle while managing issues, risk, dependencies and project change as core competencies </li> <li> Accountable to run the project on a day to day basis, verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified boundaries of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits as defined in the pre-project business case. </li> <li> Manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issues. </li> <li> Continually manage stakeholders expectations through governance processes </li> <li> Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication </li> <li> Provide status reporting to JRIS management regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies and communicating across leadership and relevant project stakeholders. </li> <li> Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business </li> <li> Own the full project lifecycle end to end </li> <li> Ensure the program is aligned to and supports strategic objectives </li> <li> Prepared detailed project plan for all phases of the project </li> <li> Manage the day to day project activities, including project management working and steering committees </li> <li> Understand interdependencies between technology and business needs </li> <li> Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables </li> <li> Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards </li> </ul> Job Requirements <ul> <li> Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent, with min. 10 years of experience in IT Project Management in the banking sector. </li> <li> Experience in system development work with prior experience in functional, technical specifications and system development </li> <li> Proficiency in JIRA, MS Project, Powerpoint, Excel, Visio </li> <li> Strong understanding and experience in software development cycle (Waterfall or Agile best practices) </li> <li> Highly effective communicating with non-technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with technical stakeholders </li> <li> Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills </li> <li> Strong negotiation skills and vendor project management skills </li> <li> Experience in vendor product management will be an added advantage </li> <li> Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus </li> <li> A confident and self aware leader with a high degree of independence with analytical/ problem solving ability </li> <li> Able to clearly articulate complex matters and provide recommendations on best course of action to be taken </li> <li> Full end to end project management in a lead role </li> <li> Executive level communication skills with excellent written and verbal communication </li> <li> Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure </li> <li> Willing to face with unexpected changes in expectations or requirements </li> <li> Ability to work both unsupervised and in a team orientated environment, under pressure and manage deadlines </li> </ul>
