They deliver a seamless customer experience as exceptional people delivering an exceptional product, building customer loyalty and relationships while delivering sales and productivity targets.</p> <p>Selling via the Best Customer Experience</p> <ul> <li>Assist customers in selecting, purchasing, and refunding merchandise while demonstrating your excellence in customer service </li> <li>Complete customer transactions in a professional and timely manner</li> <li>Identify customer’s temperaments and recommend products that suit their style</li> <li>Respond to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner; refer to the Manager on Duty if appropriate</li> <li>Assist other sales staff in peak periods to ensure customers in all areas are attended to promptly, with waiting time reduced to the minimum</li> </ul> <p>Floor and Product Presentation</p> <ul> <li>Ensure floor presentation meets or exceeds brand and DFS requirements</li> <li>Maintain reasonable stock levels of all merchandise in the department</li> <li>Be familiar with the store layout; direct customers to merchandise, services and facilities as appropriate</li> <li>Assist the Management team in the coordination and execution of merchandising activities, e.g. inventory management, promotional activities and merchandise stock flow</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Ideal Candidate</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job</li> <li>1-3 years of experience in premium spirits sales, luxury retail, or hospitality, with knowledge of whiskey categories and demonstrated ability to drive sales through tastings, storytelling, and personalized recommendations</li> <li>Proficient with handling a POS register machine</li> <li>Able to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment</li> <li>High energy level, have a positive approach to job and group responsibilities</li> <li>Ability to work flexible hours / shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays.
