The role involves working on clients of all sizes and across a wide range of sectors. We are looking for talented Directors to join us with experience in a broad range of areas including: <ul type="disc"> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Deep tax compliance, automation and reporting expertise, particularly around indirect taxes, including EMEA compliance </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Experience of end-to-end finance processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Record-to-report) and their integration with tax </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Experience advising on appropriate tax technology to support compliance and reporting processes </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Deep tax technology implementation experience, including requirements gathering from a tax, IT & User Interface perspective, and creating and reviewing design documentation </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Deep tax transformation experience, including tax governance, process design and improvement </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Project management </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Client and engagement management </li> </ul> In addition to these key areas, other desirable but not essential skills include: <ul type="disc"> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> ERP implementation experience </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Data, data bases, data transmission and data transformation including an understanding of structured query language (SQL) </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Analysing large volumes of data </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Designing cloud-based practical applications from a tax perspective </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Acting as a functionality translator, being the primary liaison between technology teams and tax teams </li> </ul> Roles & Responsibilities: <ul type="disc"> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Leading the overall delivery of tax transformation and technology projects, often as part of a wider finance transformation program </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Helping clients to design, build and deploy automation solutions which are designed for Tax </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Supporting our clients in designing systems which address tax requirements in different countries in the optimal way </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Working together with Tax Transformation and GCT colleagues as well as other teams in KPMG such as Consulting </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Helping clients develop robust global governance and control frameworks </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Develop our service offerings and service delivery models </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships with our clients </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Performance manage Senior Managers and Managers and oversee the output from offshore resource in order to deliver client projects; </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Identify opportunities to provide additional services that the client may need and liaise with subject specialists </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Coaching and technical support for other team members </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Follow KPMG best practice and policy. </li> </ul> Qualifications and Skills: <ul type="disc"> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Deep experience of technology and automation to drive efficiency, risk management and value </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to a range of situations and audiences from both written and oral perspective </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Strong attention to detail, to enable you to review complex technical problems, whilst maintaining an overall strategic and customer service focused perspective, for all deliverables we produce for our clients </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Excellent internal networking skills with the ability to confidently and knowledgably communicate with other Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners within our professional services environment </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Strong business development and client facing skills with a proven history of being able to identify opportunities and convert them to commercial projects </li> <li style="vertical-align:middle;color:black"> Excellent project management skills and an ability to manage your own workload, as well as the workloads of others in your team. </li> </ul> #LI-AD1
