Brief Description The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for manufacturing process ownership, production readiness, and ERP system integrity within a custom, engineer-to-order industrial equipment fabrication environment. This role ensures that released engineering designs are translated into safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing processes. The Manufacturing Engineer validates drawings, develops routings, establishes labor standards, oversees nesting strategy, and ensures all documentation is properly processed and entered into ERP prior to shop release. The position serves as the technical bridge between engineering, production, quality, procurement, and planning to drive operational excellence, cost control, and continuous improvement. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in steel fabrication to support and improve manufacturing operations. This role focuses on optimizing fabrication processes, improving quality and throughput, reducing costs, document control and supporting safe, efficient production across welding, cutting, forming, and assembly operations.
