And with Metrobank's strong heart for the community, you have the chance to give back and make worthwhile contributions to our nation's economic and social development.</p> <p> </p> <p>With Metrobank, a meaningful life is within your reach! </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Position Title:</strong> Sales Trader</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Services foreign exchange, fixed income, treasury time deposits, and structured solution requirements of clients (i.e. responding to inquiries, quotation, negotiation, documentation and closing of transactions)</li> <li>Works with Institutional Banking Sector as well as Branch Banking Sector as Treasury product provider to their managed accounts</li> <li>Deepens customer relationship to sustain or increase Treasury products wallet share of assigned customer portfolio.</li> <li>Expand number of dealing customers and/or products dealt to grow business.</li> <li>Provides customers market updates and forecasts, present product briefs as well as investment and hedging solutions to generate business volume</li> <li>Prepares client call reports, progress and market feedback reports for regular submission to the Department and Division Head</li> <li>Coordinates with the relevant Treasury desk for applicable rates and spots transactions with the designated trader or with Structuring Department to close position</li> <li>Assists in after-sales requests of clients</li> <li>Ensure that all activities and transactions are compliant with internal policies and regulations</li> <li>Files, safe keeps and maintains customer files</li> <li>Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Relevant experience in Treasury, Markets Sales or Trust Sales</li> <li>A licensed Certified Treasury Professional or Fixed Income Market Salesman</li> <li>Effective communication and presentation skills</li> <li>Amenable to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Other Details: </strong></p> <p><strong>Rank:</strong> Junior Officer</p> <p><strong>Unit: </strong>Financial Markets Sector</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Metrobank Center, BGC</p>
