Position: Supplier Quality Engineer Location: Magog, Canada Job type: Full time As the Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for: <ul> <li>Close collaboraton with PD&E - proactive participating in NPD/transfer projects to support on design for manufacturing solutions in terms of technology, materials, process, etc.</li> <li>Business Review with supplier and perform Supplier Development for meet Arjo needs</li> <li>Identify cost optimization initiatives</li> <li>Qualification of new suppliers and their onboarding in accordance with Arjo standards and requirements</li> <li>Conducting system and production process audits at suppliers' sites</li> <li>Conducting technical reviews with suppliers in cooperation with PD&E as part of the new product launch and production transfers</li> <li>Qualification of production components provided by the suppliers</li> <li>Suppliers performance monitoring and evaluations; being responsible for quality indicators related to the Supply Chain</li> <li>Support procurement process gap analysis and optimization if needed</li> <li>Continuous improvement of the quality of delivered components and processes at suppliers, execution and supervision over corrective and preventive actions, and other development activities/ optimization projects at suppliers</li> <li>Building requirements for preferred suppliers to establish assessment criteria, fact based supplier selection and identification of risks</li> </ul> Skills you will need: <ul> <li>Higher education - technical or quality-oriented preferred</li> <li>Min. three years of professional experience in the same or similar position (e.g. product engineer, quality engineer) in a production company; experience in Medical Device Industry is a plus</li> <li>Experience in working with electronics or electrical industry is an asset</li> <li>Experience in conducting supplier audits</li> <li>Understand nonconformance management and have practical knowledge of quality management tools, methods and techniques (PPAP, FMEA, CP, 8D, RCA, etc.)</li> <li>Ability to read technical documentation</li> <li>Advanced in French/English language</li> <li>Driving license is a plus</li> <li>Willingness to make domestic and foreign business trips</li> <li>Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li> <li>Knowledge of the requirements of the ISO13485 standard; experience in the field of process validation is a plus</li> </ul> Our offer: You will support our vision of being the most trusted partner in achieving positive results for people facing mobility challenges.
