This Field Service Technician will provide preventative maintenance and repair services on Arjo’s medical equipment within a territory that is centered around the Southern New Jersey area and the state of Delaware (covering approximately a 2-3 hour radius). This role will require a detailed understanding of electromechanical systems and the tools and processes required to complete the work. The selected Technician will focus on high-quality equipment service and on building customer relationships to drive growth opportunities. Day-to-day functions: <ul> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Maintain, repair, install, upgrade, and in-service at customer locations (medical facilities).</li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Technical diagnosis and repair; cost estimates on customer-owned medical equipment.</li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Assist the Sales team in marketing company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show set-up, etc)</li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Grow Service Contracts revenue through sales of new service contracts and renewal of existing service contracts.</li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Complete and submit accurate reporting.</li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Spare parts inventory management.</li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Daily driving to customer locations (medical facilities); some overnight travel.</li> </ul> QUALIFICATIONS: <ul> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Associates degree in an electrical or mechanical field or suitable repair and maintenance experience with electrical equipment.</li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Electrical and mechanical assembly. Training and/or certifications preferred.</li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Sales experience preferred.</li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.</li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.</li> <li style="font-family:'times new roman', times, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt">Lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.</li> </ul> Our Total Rewards Programs reflect who we are as an organization and the value we have in our people.
