<p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>The Senior Product Manager is responsible to monitor and evaluate the international cable capacity to meet current requirements and future market trend in a cost-effective manner. The position will be responsible for achieving product performance targets set by the Company.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support market analysis for new subsea cable planning and propose new submarine cable investment.</li> <li>Keep track and provide proactive monitoring on the inventory utilization and its trend, and provide recommendation for capacity upgrade alert the Management when exceeding the threshold</li> <li>Evaluate and analyse the market trend against the company inventory status and the newly available cable systems to match the product development</li> <li>Provide regular update and briefing on the available, planned new capacity and new cable systems to the Sales and Presales</li> <li>Prepare regular budget and inventory forecast according to market trend and revenue forecast</li> <li>Provide regular and ad-hoc KPI performance reports to Finance and Management</li> <li>Prepare business cases for management approval on capacity upgrade and expansion projects</li> <li>Interface with Cable Planning and Transmission Engineering teams to ensure the accuracy of the lit up capacity and associated costing for the own cable investment</li> <li>To develop new automation inventory system of cable capacity to prepare for budget and inventory analysis report. This includes online portal services that allows different stakeholders to access the data & reports.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>A University Degree holder or equivalent in Business / Engineering / Information Technology or related discipline </li> <li>At least 5 year experiences in regional or global Telecommunication industry </li> <li>Knowledge of submarine cables systems, IPLC and Ethernet Services, OSS/BSS business process and latest telecommunication technologies would be an advantage.</li> <li>Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) would be an advantage</li> <li>Strong results orientation, with a successful track record of timely achievement of aggressive goals within budget</li> <li>Self-motivated, creative, initiative and analytical with good business judgment/acumen</li> <li>Good project management skill, presentation skill and interpersonal skill with ability to mobilize a global cross department virtual team</li> <li>Good command of English, both verbal and written</li> <li>Occasional overseas Travel is required</li> </ul>
