<p><strong>Your Role</strong></p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Support the Business Unit’s activities throughout the procurement lifecycle, aiding in meeting operational needs and contributing to business growth.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Assist in maintaining the departmental website and developing applets using MS Office to improve purchasing and warehouse operations.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Contribute to the improvement of the procurement process by suggesting enhancements to ensure timely project delivery.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Serve as a support contact for end-users, assisting with the day-to-day operation of the procurement system and reporting issues to IT as needed.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Extract procurement data, generate reports, and conduct basic analysis to inform management's decision-making.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Ensure that procurement operations and workflows adhere to regulatory safety and quality requirements.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Assist in preparing vendor category and spend analysis reports.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>To succeed in this role</strong></p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>A degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; procurement-related work experience is a plus.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Basic technical skills including familiarity with databases, SQL, MS Office, HTML, and ASP; knowledge of Python, jQuery, JavaScript, or similar technologies is advantageous.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Ability to assist with website maintenance and applet development to meet departmental needs.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Strong communication skills to effectively interact with end-users and contribute to team efforts.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Basic analytical skills to assist in data extraction, report generation, and analysis.</p> </li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"> <p>Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered as Senior System Specialist.</p> </li> </ul>
