About this role
<p>As a <strong>PLC Commissioning Engineer</strong>, you bring KNAPP’s automated warehouse systems to life. You program, configure, and test <strong>Siemens PLCs (S7, TIA Portal)</strong> and ensure seamless commissioning for our international customers.</p> <p><strong>#yourmission</strong></p> <ul> <li>Commissioning of <strong>automation and conveyor systems</strong></li> <li>PLC programming & troubleshooting (Siemens TIA/Step7)</li> <li>On‑site testing, optimization and handover</li> <li>Collaboration with electrical, mechanical and software teams</li> <li>Training customer technicians</li> <li>International travel (around 60–75 %)</li> </ul> <p><strong>#youareknapp</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in <strong>Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or Electrical Engineering</strong> (HTL or similar)</li> <li>Basic or advanced experience with <strong>PLC programming</strong> (preferred Siemens)</li> <li>Passion for automation, robotics and technology</li> <li>Good English skills</li> <li>Proactive mindset and willingness to travel</li> <li> <div>You are physically and mentally fit, able to stand and walk for extended periods, capable of lifting 25 kg at shoulder height, and comfortable with heights and climbing ladders</div> </li> </ul> <p><strong>#weareknapp</strong><br>We offer you a secure and long-term job in a leading company in Styria and the opportunity to continuously develop yourself in a motivated team.<br>This position is remunerated with at least € 3,040 gross (KV for employees in the metal industry, VWGr III/i1u2J.). A significant overpayment is of course possible depending on your professional qualifications and experience. You will also receive a monthly allowance of up to € 1,350 net and bonuses of up to € 1,350 gross, depending on the amount of travel.</p>
