We offer an empowering culture with strongly embedded organisational values that define who we are and everything we do.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><b>Position: Quality Improvement Engineer </b></p> <p><b>Location: Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China</b></p> <p><b>Department: TAS Acessories Quality </b></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><b><span style="">Job Responsibilites:</span></b></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">-</span><span style="">To ensure all our products meet contracted pp standards.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">-</span><span style="">Drive</span><span style=""> end to end production process, including pre-production process, in-line QC and end of line inspections to ensure clear understanding and compliance of TAS/KAS quality standards.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">-</span><span style="">Train, conduct and support the compliance to TAS/KAS</span><span style=""><span style="">’</span></span><span style="">s Final Statistical Inspection (FSI) process for TAS/KAS Quality Team and nominated Self Inspection Factory (FCA) and 3rd party inspections.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">-</span><span style="">Guide and develop defect analysis and root cause prevention by using DSS plus and GBSS system and supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS) and data sources.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">-</span><span style="">Validate inspection integrity with the Factory Certified Auditor and monitor the progress of skip inspections on a timely basis with the quality management.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">-</span><span style="">Drive the application of the TAS/KAS Quality Manual/guidelines MMS and HTM at supplier and third party and factory level.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">-</span><span style="">Support platform inspection as necessary</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">-</span><span style="">Support and monitor product safety processes including needle and sharp tool controls, metal detection and all aspects of child safety testing according to TARGET/KMART standards.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">-</span><span style="">To ensure the factory have all development and QA sample reports and good records of corrections to contracted agreed standard, guidance notes to be shared at the Pre-Production Meeting. </span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style="">-</span><span style="">To ensure that the correct seal sample, trim card, complete Quality Master file and factory pre shipment are available and functioning correctly.</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><b><span style="">Job Requirements</span></b></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""> * Associate Degree or above in business admin or Apparel part related.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""> * 5-7 years of Handbag & Belt experience; previous experience with large retailers is beneficial.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""> * Detailed knowledge of handbag materials and related product construction</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""> * Factory production knowledge and fitting of the handbag & others accessories. </span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""> * Technical engineering and quality skills</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""> * Computer skill and Knowledge of Quality Management and Product Safety</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""> * Mature, self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""> * Ability to work under minimum supervision, manage multi-tasks, set priorities, work with diverse background of people from different levels.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""> * Good command in both written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""> * Responsible, detail-oriented, flexible and good team player.</span></span></span></p> <p><span style=""><span style=""><span style=""> * Ability in problem solving</span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style=""><span style="">KAS Group Asia values diversity and we pride ourselves on representing the diverse and multicultural communities of which we are a part.
