About this role
<p>The expense auditor will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end in staff expenses process. You will work with the onshore Expense Team Functional Leader and offshore Expense Auditor Supervising Associate. </p> <p><strong>The overall purpose of the role is</strong>:<br>· Perform audit of staff expense claims ensuring all company and legal requirements are met and corporate compliance regulations adhered to<br>· Identify/resolve/communicate any issues in the processing of expense reimbursement<br>· Monitor pending expense report and complete audit task within deadline check and clear staff expense open item on regular basis<br>· Monthly reconciliation of payable accounts, accrued and prepaid expenses<br>· Perform payment process according to company payment schedule <br>· Monitor bank related issue e.g. expense rejection and assist in reconciliation of bank accounts. <br>· Provide support to in house tax team to assist in tax related information<br>· Investigating and resolving ad hoc staff expenses queries and escalations in a timely manner<br>· Other ad hoc reporting and tasks required by the business</p> <p><strong>Qualifications, knowledge & experience</strong><br>• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within a large organisation<br>• Expense reimbursement experience desirable<br>• Experience in a professional services environment preferred<br>• Proven analytical skills and attention to details<br>• Ability to build strong relationships across the business at all levels.<br>• Ability to work at pace with changing priorities<br>• Good skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP would be advantageous<br>• Excellent time management and problem solving skills.<br>• Excellent communication skills; the ability to negotiate and influence decision-making, and communicate effectively with senior management on progress, issues and resolutions<br>• Encourage innovation and exploration of new ideas and initiatives by team members.</p>
