This role will ensure that production is managed in a safe and efficient manner, has interaction at all levels of the organization, including external customers. This individual will provide coaching and direction to their team while driving accountability in the business; ultimately leading the organization to achieve its goals. </span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You’ll Be Doing</b></H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:10.0pt"> • Create and foster a high-performance, business-driven team culture and environment. Establish and maintain conditions conducive to continuous improvement in manufacturing. Recommend alternatives for improving production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions. Actively participate in and lead problem-solving meetings and activities (e.g., accident investigations, quality concerns) utilizing DBS tools.<br>• Lead manufacturing team in achieving production schedule goals and exceeding customer expectations by focusing on safety, quality, cost, productivity and morale to deliver targets.<br>• Drive activities to improve on time delivery, labor optimization, scrap reduction and lower cost.<br>• Conduct process checks and monitor performance to adhere to standard work formats and pacing boards.<br>• Coach and develop direct reports to help them meet performance expectations.<br>• Promote positive employee relations.<br>• Assist in the selection and training of new employees.<br>• Provide clear and proactive communication across shifts to ensure effective coordination of resources. <br> </span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What We're Looking For</b></H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:12.0pt"> </span>Required (basic) qualifications<br>• Bachelor’s degree <br>• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment<br>• Minimum 1 year experience supervising others<br>• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship both now and in the future.</p> <p> </p> <p>Preferred qualifications<br>• Computer/software proficiency including MS Office Applications<br>• Six Sigma knowledge / Greenbelt/Blackbelt</p> <p> </p> <p>Job Criteria<br>• Demonstrated competency in leading, motivating, counseling, training, and evaluating employees; production scheduling; problem solving; change management; presentation and facilitation skills.<br>• Strong interpersonal skills; excellent oral and written communication skills<br>• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, industrial safety, SPC, continuous improvement, and quality assurance concepts.<br>• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and project management skills and applications.<br>• Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously and the ability to work among competing priorities.<br>• Knowledge of process failure mode and effect analysis.</p> <p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You'll Get from Us</b></H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-size:10.0pt">At Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making.
