Utilize MRP to effectively communication schedules and purchase orders to suppliers, follow-up with suppliers daily, manage inventory levels to ensure consistent flow of materials, and provide daily updates to the production planning/master scheduling teams. Carry out all activities according to Danfoss Ethics and Values. This position is on-site and the salary range is 65-80K based on experience.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You’ll Be Doing</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <p>Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.</p> <p>• Execute material planning to procure raw materials through a consistent process reducing variation on the supply base.<br>• Accountable for inventory performance of set of suppliers/commodities to maintain balance of on time delivery and working capital performance.<br>• Utilize MRP to the fullest extent to ensure timely and accurate communication of supplier schedules and/or discrete purchase order releases.<br>• Accountable for monitoring ERP health measures to ensure the consistent use of MRP in managing suppliers and schedules.<br>• Drive continuous improvement and consistency in item master and standard planning processes.<br>• Minimize all inbound/outbound premium freight.<br>• Complete root cause analysis; develop robust improvement plans to ensure consistency of material flow.<br>• Support and work with other departments and/or functions to resolve materials issues.<br>• Review and adhere to establish processes.<br>• Propose continuous improvement initiatives both internal and external to the function, which drive efficient use of resources.<br>• Follow escalation process to expedite materials and/or any other supply issue according to business needs.<br>• Support all activities related with accounts payable to ensure on time payment to suppliers and avoid accounts "credit hold".<br>• Maintain relationships with supplier base to ensure efficient and transparent flow of two-way communication.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What We&apos;re Looking For</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <p>The ideal candidate possesses these skills. </p> <p>• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain preferred.</p> <p>• 3 - 5 years&apos; experience in buying.</p> <p>• Technical knowledge:</p> <p>o Familiar with forecasting tools.</p> <p>o CPP, CPIM, or CSCP certification.</p> <p>o Highly advanced analytical and cognitive skills.</p> <p>o Experience in MRP, MPS, Min-Max tools.</p> <p>o Experience in SAP or similar ERP system.</p> <p>o Proficient in MS Office /Excel, able to develop spreadsheets.</p> <p>• Demonstrates a Collaborative Style.</p> <p>• Possesses Interpersonal Savvy (Supplier/Customer Relationships).</p> <p>• Strong ethics and professional presence required.</p> <p>• Strong oral and written communication skills.</p> <p> </p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What You&apos;ll Get from Us</b></H2> </div><div><p><span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:12.0pt"> </span></p> <ol> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:12.0pt">We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:12.0pt">You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
