<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"><b>The Impact You'll Make</b></H2> </div><div><p>The China FC Product Application Engineering Manager leads a regional team of Product Application Engineers, focusing on fluid connector products (hydraulic hoses, adapter fittings, flexible & rigid pipe assemblies, etc.). He/She is responsible for regional quoting strategies, part activation tracking (especially customized assemblies), new business onboarding, and driving RFQ win rate improvement through professional technical support.</p> <p><br>The Leader manages application engineers’ daily work: reviewing customer specifications (e.g., hydraulic/pneumatic system conditions), identifying technical needs, and recommending suitable fluid connector products and solutions. He/She interacts with customers remotely and in-person to ensure a positive experience from product selection, quoting to implementation (prototype matching, assembly guidance, on-site piping).</p> <p><br>The Leader oversees team KPIs (customer application failure rate, technical delivery on-time rate, customer satisfaction), sets work directions, conducts performance evaluations, manages budgets, exercises engineering judgment, approves key technical documents, and formulates/implements regional product application strategies.</p> <p><br>Additionally, the Leader coordinates cross-departmental collaboration: feeding customer needs to R&D for product iteration, optimizing assembly processes with production, and empowering sales with technical support. He/She ensures compliance with SAE, GB, ISO standards, avoids risks, and balances technical performance and cost.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"><b>What You’ll Be Doing</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Efficiently and accurately process global customer RFQs, ensuring optimal core products, cost accuracy, and manufacturing strategies are quoted to offer the best value-added solution.</li> <li>Manage the processing of new business wins into production, coordinating with operations (SCM, Process Eng, Mfg, Drafting) for smooth part activation, customer onboarding, and conformance to product specifications.</li> <li>Drive the successful pursuit of key business opportunities by engaging with customers and internal groups. Understand customer specifications through on-site and remote interaction, outline Danfoss product value, and provide technical support.</li> <li>Develop and implement a regional Application Engineering strategy (short-term and long-term) that is in-line with the Divisional strategy, creating a clear vision and purpose for the team.</li> <li>Direct and oversee the engineering team, setting clear goals, objectives, and development plans. Manage adherence to standards and quality, and use scorecards to measure progress and drive the right behaviors.</li> <li>Identify and quantify projects (in SCM, operation, VAVE) to improve the Division's cost position and profitability. Continuously improve standard work and processes such as quotation, customer onboarding, and part set-up.</li> <li>Interact with manufacturing plants to understand capabilities and resolve challenges.
