<div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Long Description</H2> </div><div><p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, sketches, and product/engineering specifications</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Set up and and operate CNC OD and ID grind equipment with minimal supervision on a Studer grinding machine.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Make adjustments as required to maintain print specifications</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Grind of spline shafts and aircraft gears holding tolerances of .0001” - .0005”</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Maintain proper documentation of SPC data and participate in certified operator program.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Inspect faces and diameters using micrometers, gages and amps</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Perform in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Perform operator maintenance.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Perform the required measurements to assure product quality</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Notify your Leader of all nonconforming product</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Mechanical aptitude a plus</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Working knowledge of Inspection Devices and Instruments</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Ability to translate prints along with understanding of GD&T</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc"><strong>Experience using Studer OD Grinder, FANUC controls using G code</strong></li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Blueprint reading skills</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Shop math skills</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Proficiency in the use of a wide variety of precision measuring tools are required.</li> <li style="list-style-type:disc">Ability to utilize visual comparator and Precision Gear Check Equipment</li> </ul></div></div></div>
