You develop and perform experiments (with a focus on plants and ecosystems), analyse results, and translate them into conceptual and mathematical models used in radiological impact studies, environmental risk assessments, and site remediation projects.<br>You contribute to both fundamental and applied research and turn insights into practical tools and evidence-based recommendations for projects, policymakers, and international collaborations. In addition, you support impact studies and remediation projects through scientific analyses.<br>You communicate results clearly, contribute to scientific publications, and present your work at national and international forums, in close collaboration with expert colleagues.<br>Your role</p> <ul> <li>design and perform laboratory experiments on the behaviour, exposure, and effects of radionuclides and ionising radiation (focus on plants)</li> <li>analyse complex datasets and translate them into applicable mathematical models and tools</li> <li>actively contribute to radiological impact and site remediation projects</li> <li>analyse, interpret, and report research results clearly</li> <li>collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and present findings at international forums</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job requirements</b></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Master’s or PhD in biological, biophysical, bioengineering, environmental or related sciences</li> <li>strong experimental and methodological laboratory skills with high safety and quality standards</li> <li>strong analytical skills and environmental knowledge</li> <li>experience with modelling and translating</li> <li>experimental results into conceptual and mathematical applications</li> <li>experience in applied research projects, particularly in radiological impact and site remediation</li> <li>excellent oral and written communication skills (reports, risk assessments, scientific publications)</li> </ul></div></div></div>
