RtR Team Leader (GL Continent&Baltics)

You will be responsible for:

1. Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop the RtR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture

Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide ongoing feedback to team members

Ensure appropriate workload distribution and manage team resources effectively

Coordinate and control employees' absences

Prepare performance evaluation and targets setup for team members

Recruit and perform the onboarding process for new employees

Encourage positive relations and cooperation within the team, with Local Business Units, and across DFDS Group departments in Poznan and the DFDS Group

Give regular feedback

Support the DFDS Way culture

2. Responsibility for team processes:

Have control over team projects

Suggest, lead or support changes within processes

Actively take part in realization of processes migration to the team according to agreed plan

Be continuously driven to improve internal processes and procedures to reduce transactional costs and handling time

Ensure accurate, timely and high-quality services measured by relevant and accurate KPI’s

Report the results to management and stakeholders, suggest improvements if relevant.

3. Client service:

Become a trusted business partner

Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

Build positive and long-term relations with internal and external stakeholders,

Cooperate with external financial and/or consulting institutions (auditors, banks, external solutions providers)

Continue an effective cross teams/departments cooperation

We are looking for a person who has:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Very good knowledge and understanding of accounting and financial processes

Being driven, passionate, positive, and able to build team spirit

Excellent communication and analytical skills

Fluent in English, knowledge of second European language would be an asset

Precision and attention to details, being inquisitive, diligent and well-organized

Good knowledge of MS Office and other commonly used software

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
