<p>Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a Billing Integration Manager. This role is primarily responsible for executing the monthly billing cycle for assigned new partners and clients and supporting partner billing onboarding, including new matter setup, rates, e-billing setup, billing, reporting, training and process documentation. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely, accurate and high-quality work; providing exemplary customer service to partners; and enhancing billing practices and procedures. This position requires tactical billing expertise, management oversight and strong problem-solving skills. This is a hybrid role with a two-day in-office requirement.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Assist in the management the Monthly Proforma generation process</li> <li>Develop and conduct training sessions; maintain and enhance process documentation</li> <li>Manage the assigned integration team, which consists of new partners and their support teams.</li> <li>Ensure smooth workflow transition to the billing and e-billing teams in a timely manor</li> <li>Proactively forge strong working relationships with assigned partners. Provide timely and candid communication on statuses, problems and timelines</li> <li>Swiftly and effectively resolve billing and other issues</li> <li>Ensure compliance with firm deadlines and policies</li> <li>Proactively recommend and implement process, procedural and policy enhancements</li> <li>Liaise with and support finance functions outside of billing – including the e-billing – collections and NBI teams to ensure current billing</li> <li>Promote a positive, energetic culture featuring accountability, strong communication, teamwork, collaboration and excellence</li> <li>Lead departmental projects and other tasks as assigned</li> <li>Develop and lead internal training programs for the billing team</li> <li>Develop and lead the departed partner process to monitor WIP, Billings and work with the NBI team to close matters quickly</li> <li>Assist as need with urgent billing issues</li> <li>Monitor Unbilled activity</li> <li>Perform duties with the highest of moral and ethical standards</li> <li>Develop comprehensive expertise on assigned staff’s billing tasks and the firm’s billing system and e-billing platforms</li> <li>Understand e-billing processes; liaise with e-billing team to ensure timely billing and problem resolution, engagement in the e-billing/biller team meetings</li> <li>Understand and manage key monthly billing dynamics: Prebill run and distribution process; invoice processing; client fee arrangements; billing guidelines; e-billing rejections, timekeepers and rates; matter maintenance; departmental mailboxes, ensuring responses are current and resolved; control reports (prepared not posted, etc.); departmental performance metrics</li> <li>Provide professional development (training/mentoring)</li> <li>Provide performance evaluations on assigned staff during the annual evaluation process and provide performance updates to management on an ongoing basis</li> <li>Other duties as required to fully meet the requirements of this position</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Experience & Qualifications</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree preferably in finance, accounting or business administration or equivalent experience</li> <li>7+ years’ experience working in a legal services environment</li> <li>Strong knowledge in legal and electronic billing</li> <li>Well-developed legal billing software expertise; Elite 3E preferred</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite</li> <li>Strong and credible leadership presence</li> <li>Proven ability to manage a group with diverse personalities and skill sets</li> <li>Well-developed ability to balance multiple priorities</li> <li>Innate customer service orientation and commitment to excellence</li> <li>Positive and energetic interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>Inherently self-reflective, collaborative and team-oriented</li> <li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li> <li>Tenacious problem solving and follow through capabilities</li> <li>Meticulous attention to detail, quality and accuracy, meeting deadlines</li> <li>Flexibility to work beyond assigned hours when circumstances warrant</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $145,000 DOE</strong></p><p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-size:10.0pt">Dentons US LLP offers a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, profit sharing, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays and discretionary bonuses. </span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><em>Dentons US LLP is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Disability/Vet.
