<p><span style="">Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for an experienced Enterprise Applications Automation Engineer to join our IT Operations team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions and workflows across a diverse set of enterprise applications, driving operational efficiency, quality assurance, and post-patch validation through advanced automation and integration technologies.</span></p> <p><span style=""><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <p><span style=""><strong>Automation & Workflow Development</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Develop and maintain automations and workflows across Exchange, Intune, Mimecast, Active Directory (AD), EntraID, Freshworks, and other 3rd party applications.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Evaluate and apply automation techniques, where appropriate, to support application QA and post-patch testing and improve validation of system changes. </span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Utilize PowerShell, Power Automate, Microsoft Graph, and other relevant tools to automate administrative tasks, data integrations, and reporting.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Integrate and support distributed microservices and cloud-hosted solutions, leveraging APIs and modern authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, Single Sign-On).</span></li> </ul> <p><span style=""><strong>System Administration & Support</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for automated workflows and integrations, collaborating with IT Operations and service desk teams.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Monitor automation performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure smooth operations.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Conduct regular audits, security reviews, and data integrity checks for automated processes.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style=""><strong>Collaboration & Project Delivery</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Work closely with the End User Compute, Enterprise Applications, and Applications Support teams to design and build scalable enterprise automation solutions.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Participate in the development and execution of the firm’s technology roadmap, focusing on automation and operational excellence.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Lead or contribute to automation-related projects, including planning, management, and successful delivery of assigned initiatives.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Prepare documentation for handoff to service teams and provide Level 3 support for automation-related issues, escalating to architects as needed.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style=""><strong>Quality Assurance & Testing</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Develop automated QA scripts and workflows for application testing, regression validation, and post-patch verification.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Implement systematic approaches to software testing, and evaluate opportunities to enhance testing through automation and emerging technologies.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style=""><strong>Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Participate in RFP/RFI processes for automation tools and platforms, contributing to vendor analysis and selection.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Manage strategic vendor relationships related to automation and integration technologies.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style=""><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Stay updated with the latest automation, RPA, and AI technologies, proactively recommending system improvements.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Document automation configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and training.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style=""><strong>Other Duties</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style=""><span style="">Identify and communicate automation-related risks to appropriate IT leadership.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Participate in outage calls and incident response as required.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Other duties as assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style=""><strong>Experience & Qualifications</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li style=""><span style="">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or comparable work experience.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">5+ years of experience developing and administering automations for enterprise applications (preferably in legal or professional services).</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Strong experience with PowerShell, Power Automate, and Microsoft Graph.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Experience with deployment and administration of Microsoft operating systems and applications.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Proven track record in project leadership and independent delivery of automation solutions.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Experience with systematic software testing and QA automation.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Azure Fundamentals Training/Certification is a plus.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Familiarity with modern authentication protocols, cloud integrations and RPA.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">The candidate will need a strong ability to demonstrate successful independent work and value-added deliverables.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Experience with AI-driven automation platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, or similar).</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Familiarity with machine learning concepts for process optimization and anomaly detection.</span></li> <li style=""><span style="">Ability to leverage AI for predictive analytics, automated QA, and intelligent workflow orchestration.</span></li> <li
