This includes a wide array of projects, such as:</p> <ul> <li>electrical and civil works in high-voltage substations,</li> <li>high-voltage lines,</li> <li>underground cables.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Our commitment extends beyond procurement to follow-up on ongoing projects, ensuring they progress smoothly from a commercial and contractual standpoint.</p> <p>We are therefore thrilled to expand our team with a <strong>Project Contract and Claim Manager Works</strong> for substations works in Belgium.</p> <p>As Project Contract and Claim Manager, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including: </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Supporting and advising project teams on all contractual and commercial matters </li> <li>Ensuring delivered services comply with agreed service levels and commercial conditions </li> <li>Managing contractual changes, variations, and potential issues proactively </li> <li>Preparing and managing commercial documentation, including administration, reporting, performance monitoring, price adjustments, and formal communication </li> <li>Managing contract risks, claims, disputes, and resolutions </li> <li>Providing feedback to internal teams and colleagues to prevent future issues</li> <li>Acting as moderator between suppliers and Elia Group teams in escalated situations </li> <li>Supplier management to ensure constructive collaboration and contractual delivery </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Additionally: </p> <ul> <li>Align with colleagues on market and supplier knowledge to improve negotiations and define procurement strategies </li> <li>Contribute to transversal initiatives within Works, Procurement, or Elia Group working groups </li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Your Profile</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Master's degree with a technical, commercial or legal background or equivalent through experience.</li> <li>Minimum 5-years experience in project management, project contract management or procurement of works related services</li> <li>A strong technical affinity and/or experience in infrastructure or energy projects </li> <li>Structured, autonomous, proactive, and team-oriented </li> <li>Analytical, solution-oriented, strong communicator with strategic mindset </li> <li>Fluent in Dutch and French; good knowledge of English </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Experience in following areas are considered an asset:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Have experience in negotiations or knowledge about contract dispute & resolution</li> <li>Have experience with MS office suite, Aconex, SAP and/or Ariba Sourcing</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:20.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Offer</b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>Salary:</strong> a competitive salary package, allowance for representation expenses, year-end bonus, double vacation pay, meal vouchers (€10 per working day), eco-vouchers, sport & culture vouchers, bonuses based on individual and group results. </li> <li><strong>Insurance:</strong> group insurance, hospitalisation insurance, ambulant care insurance for the whole family and also personal accident insurance. </li> <li><strong>Vacation:</strong> You will be entitled to 20 vacation days and 5 additional vacation days, 6 local days, 4 exempt days (after 1 year of employment) and up to 5 long-service days (1 day for every 3 years in employment). </li> <li><strong>Social fund:</strong> Year-end vouchers, birth and marriage allowance.
