We are seeking a Port Operative to join our team at the Port of Great Yarmouth and help us keep the world moving!</span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Your Role </b></H2> </div><div><p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Working with the Operations department, you will provide first class cargo handling services for all customers, including, but not limited to , the handling and transportation of freight and goods on/off vessels/vehicles and to or from storage areas, plus other processes such as palletisation, stuffing and de-stuffing of Containers, and warehouse operations. You will ensure compliance with Peel Ports Health and Safety policies and procedures, having the highest regard for health and safety.</span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">You will carry out cargo handling duties, which may include slinging, banksman, cargo lashing (including Containers), counterbalance FLT driving (including various attachments), Skidsteer and loading shovel, cranes and materials handlers.
